Amber and Alexi's Mt. Airy Wedding

The day was relaxed, quiet, and beautiful. Amber and Alexi had nothing to worry about.  They were about to say I do to their best friend.  Every little detail seemed perfect.  Of course that was because the bride herself had a hand in dreaming up then making almost every detail.  It gave everything such an authentic feel which fit just perfectly at the
Linganore Winecellars in Mt. Airy, MD.

The shoes were made by Amber's aunt- Tamera Lindsay.

Hair was done by Jasmine Duvall from Urbana Salon & Spa.
Make-up was done by Moya Harner, owner of Kiss My Lash.
Loved watching this part.  It involved and airbrush :)
Amber looked even more stunning than usual.

Bam-  Told you!
I would say Alexi is a lucky guy, but I think Amber is just as lucky.  Alexi is brilliant, loyal, funny, and the epitome of all around good guy.

The Franklin ladies.

My favorite.

Love it.

Caught a glimpse of this sunset during the meal and Amber literally RAN for it.  Glad we got some amazing shots before it was gone.

Absolutely loved the lace and crochet details on the center pieces.
Now here is the jaw dropper folks.  As an owner of a confectionary business, Colorful Treats, Amber made her OWN cake. Such a work of art.  I'm not ashamed to say I may have taken about
100 photos of it.

Love. My. Job.
Amber and Alexi it was such an honor to be a part of your day.  Thank you so much for having me as your photographer!

Justin and Christy's Engagement- Hershey Photographer

I can't say enough how happy I am these two have found each other, again.  We all went to the same school in Hershey and a lot of life has happened since then.  A twist of fate put them both in Miami where they met back up and realized they love being together.  These two are so much fun and are just genuinely crazy about each other.
It's wild to think I used to babysit for Christy!

Some shots on the way to the Hershey Hotel overlooking Hershey Park.

 Stunning couple.

I love that Christy got her dress and necklace from Rent The Runway for the shoot.

Last but not least. a shot focusing on Justin.
I look forward to seeing where your lives take you next!

County Fair- Harrisburg Photographer

Over the next few months I will be working on polishing my business.  One of the moves I'm taking to make this happen is I'm making new sample albums.  Last night I put together this album to showcase my family portraits for the upcoming County Fair at the Carlisle Barracks where I hope to bring in a lot of business.
Stop by my booth on August 7th and please let me know what you think!

I've been photographing some great families lately!  These are the Hammers.  I loved taking some shots focusing on dad before he deployed for the next year.   As much as I loved being on vacation, I'm psyched to get back to my business.  Motivated!
Tried something new on this next one and really like the way it turned out.

What little girl doesn't love her own mini shoot?

Thanks guys for coming out to have fun taking photos with me!

Harrisburg Photographer- The Joint Ball

If you love a man in uniform, you're going to love this post.  I recently had the honor of photographing a formal military ball for the students attending the US Army War College in Carlisle.  Nothing more appropriate to post this Memorial Day Weekend.  Proud to say many of these couples are my friends.  They inspire me.

These bag pipers, who came to the event to play with no monetary compensation, had me in tears during their rendition of Amazing Grace. The USAWC Commandant said it best- if you were not moved by that, then check your pulse.

The MC for the night pulled together a beautiful event with the entire Joint Ball Committee with the help of the Hershey Lodge.

Happy Memorial Day everyone and Thank You to all the service men and women out there defending our way of life.
