Wiley Engagement Session- Harrisburg Photographer

I had a blast photographing with these two the other weekend at the Allenberry Playhouse and Boiling Springs Lake.  I'm really excited to be photographing their wedding in September of 2014. 

 We joked around the whole time and Tim never complained about all the photos Ariel and I wanted to take.  Good man.

  On this one, Tim and Ariel laughed at me as I almost got hit by a car.  Really cracked us up.

 The Allenberry, where they will be getting married, has some beautiful spots for photos.

Gallery Wraps

Fall is in full swing and my photography season has peaked.  I'm shooting cross country, weddings, engagements, senior portraits, and a lot of families right now.  Something people have been asking about are gallery wraps to purchase from their sessions.  I thought I would post some photos of what they look like to help people decide if they are the right fit for you.  

The photo wraps around the edge.

 The texture looks like canvas.

...because it IS canvas ;)

They are more expensive than prints, however they do not get framed so that expense is eliminated which evens out the cost.  Speaking of cost- a 16x20 gallery wrap is $155 and a 24x30 is $320. The bigger you go, the more of a statement the artwork makes in your home. 

 

Can't wait to see this little beauty printed as a gallery wrap for the Hixson family!

Amber and Alexi's Mt. Airy Wedding

The day was relaxed, quiet, and beautiful. Amber and Alexi had nothing to worry about.  They were about to say I do to their best friend.  Every little detail seemed perfect.  Of course that was because the bride herself had a hand in dreaming up then making almost every detail.  It gave everything such an authentic feel which fit just perfectly at the

Linganore Winecellars in Mt. Airy, MD.

 The shoes were made by Amber's aunt- Tamera Lindsay.

Hair was done by Jasmine Duvall from Urbana Salon & Spa.

Make-up was done by Moya Harner, owner of Kiss My Lash.
Loved watching this part.  It involved and airbrush :)

I would say Alexi is a lucky guy, but I think Amber is just as lucky.  Alexi is brilliant, loyal, funny, and the epitome of all around good guy.

Caught a glimpse of this sunset during the meal and Amber literally RAN for it.  Glad we got some amazing shots before it was gone.

Absolutely loved the lace and crochet details on the center pieces.

Now here is the jaw dropper folks.  As an owner of a confectionary business, Colorful Treats, Amber made her OWN cake. Such a work of art.  I'm not ashamed to say I may have taken about

100 photos of it.
