The Big 1

On Sunday Maya turned 1. We had a blast out at my parents' pool. There were tornados touching down in other parts of counties nearby, but the rainy skies seemed to part over the Zeller house hold in honor of our little lady's big day.
Happy First Birthday Maya!

Lovin' the hat!

That's right- everything was color coordinated- I'm learning from my brides ;)
Pool time.
Present time- just what mommy wanted- books. I love to read to my kids. She litterally tried to eat 1/2 of that cake! Thought she would get sick, but she's fine.

Pooped.

Maya has a secret.

She's walking! She took her first steps on July 17th so this entry is a bit delayed. I took her to see her daddy at work since he was on second shift so he could share in our excitement. Daddy was so proud. Her birthday is July 27th. More photos coming soon!

Charity and Karlea

A friend of mine, and fellow photographer, Charity asked me to take some photos of her with her niece, Karlea just the other day. There were no big cheesy grins, just pensive and content expressions. She may have been pondering the imminent rain or maybe she was working on different looks for her modeling career.
This one is my favorite.

She's just so adorable!I mean Charity of course ;)

June 21st Wedding

This was an amazing wedding which started at St. Joan of Arc then moved to the Hershey Country Club for the reception. The bride and groom were so relaxed so it made my day so much better. Laurie's dress was beautiful and I just loved the black and pink color scheme.
This was the first time I photographed at a country club, and it was great- super classy and so many oportunities for shots. What a good looking couple! The ring bearer was the bride's son. He was devilishly handsome! They where whooped and cheered at as they walked towards their patiently waiting guests. The light in this room was beautiful. I take advantage of any chance I can get to take photos without a flash.

Here is the lady's man- only the ladies are his cousins ;)Had to add this photo in there. The first dance.

Ed and Laurie, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day. You guys were great and made me feel so comfortable. Congratulations in finding true happiness in one another.
During this busy wedding season and after vacation, I have found myself behind- I'm working on posting 3 weddings and I have another one next weekend.

I have decided to give you sneak peeks of the weddings I have done until I can get all of my favorites up.

This one is from a wedding I did a few weeks ago at a Crossing Vineyards.

Jesus Fish part 2

I would not have believed it if I had not seen it for myself, but during the months following Mr. Bubbles' freak accident, he has fully regrown his tail. I never knew that FISH were capable of regenerating appendages!! He still lacks color, but is doing fine. For everyone who does not know, this fish jumped out of it's bowl and dried up on our bathroom floor. For some reason I peeled him up and put him back in the bowl. And here he is today!

Bahamas Cruise Vacation

First I must appologize to all the customers I had to put on hold while I was on vacation. As a thank you for your patience, I am going to blog all about it and share lots of photos with you.
I went on a cruise with my hubby to the Bahamas on the Carnival Sensation.
There were ups and downs of the trip- I'm only going to be highlighting the UPs.
Let's start out with the cruise ship. Don't be jealous!
This is what you see when you first enter the ship- a large atrium of entertainment and shops.

This is what we did most of the time on the ship. Actually, we mostly played roulette- my favorite! We just about broke even for the trip after Dave won $300 in one day on the wheel.

This is the pool deck with a slide. Yes, I did go down the slide.

Top view of the pool.

Ah, and our towl animal left in our room by our man maid.

We went mini golfing- but it was roasting out, so I didn't do very well- and the ship was rocking and messed up my golf swing ;)

Our fist stop was at Freeport in the Bahamas. Not many highlights- just conch shells and these photos. I'm a sucker for crystal clear water.

This is a composite that photoshop pieced together from about 5 photos I took of the shoreline. The 3 photos above are from that same shoreline. Breath taking.I brough a conch shell home for AJ- he LOVES it. Took it in for show and tell today.

This shore is on the bay side of the island. Not as pretty as the beach. This shore is made of solid shells. I've never seen anything quite like it.

Next stop: Nassau in the Bahamas. We took a taxi to the Atlantis resort.

That's right, this place was REDICULOUS! The fountains, the waterfalls, the waterslides, the swimming lagoons, the beaches... it was all very grand dios. And yes, the inside was just as impressive.

You could rent snorkle equipment or paddle boats in the lagoons.

There were jet skiis and parasails available to rent on the beach.

The last photo is of the shark tank. I peiced together 2 photos I took of a shark passing by. The most awesome part is that two of the waterslides exit through a clear glass tunnel that passes through the shark tank!!

If I were ever to go to the Bahamas again, I would say ditch the cruise (unless you're a first timer). There just isn't much to do when it's super hot out and there is only so much of the casino that you can afford. I would go straight to Nassau and stay at the lovely Atlantis resort... for a month ;)
