Whatever anyone says, the process of having puppies is wonderful yet MESSY. It's a real roller coaster. You just have to focus on what is good rather than dwell on the sad.
Sheba started giving birth early Sunday morning and even before we noticed she was in labor, she had 2 puppies on our couch. Then there was a 3rd and a 4th... She made her home on our living room floor in front of the tv where everyone was trying to watch football. Sheba took 10 hours before she delivered another puppy at 2 AM Monday. This was a little girl and it was still born. I thought they would all be still born after that because the labor had just taken too long. But by 3 AM two more were born. Again she had a long stint of not being able to push the next puppy out. I went to out to run errands and came back to a HUGE mess. She gave birth to 2 more still born puppies while my husband was taking a nap. One in the hall and one in Maya's room.

After that, I thought she was done and moved her outside with her pups. When I came to check on her, she had one more. And that was the end of the labor process. About 6 AM Sunday until 3 PM Monday. She sure was shaking when it was all over and it looked like
I hadn't fed her in a month.
Look at all these puppies!!
If you do not like blood or totally gross things, please do not watch this video of
a puppy being born.
Since she finished giving birth, we lost two more puppies. This is one of the puppies we lost yesterday. He was completely different from all the rest. We wanted to keep him and name him Brock. RIP Brocky.
We now have 7 puppies. 2 girls, 5 boys. It has been hard on me since we started with 12. I guess I'll just have more love to give each puppy. It will be hard to see them go. They will be ready for homes a week or two before Christmas. We are selling them for about $130 to cover the vet fees. If you know of anyone who would like to take one of these guys home or give one as a gift for Christmas, give me a call. 717-215-2874. They will also be available to have pictures done with them just as soon as they get a little older. Feel free to stop by to visit ANYTIME!

So I thought I was going to gag a little bit after watching the movie. Turns out the girl in the background made me laugh enough I didn't even think about it. :)
Nice... Congratulations.
