Recently I had the pleasure of shooting the Cross Country States in Hershey for PennTrackXC.com. Here are a few good shots of some amazing runners!
I had an interesting day though. While I was waiting in between races, I heard what sounded like someone falling into the quary next to the bridge where I was sitting. I walked over to see 5 deer swimming. They jumped out right near where I was standing and tried to ram their ways through the fence. Ever see a deer swim? I never had. Sorry it's not the best photo!
Later, a deer came running down the trail, came within a few feet of me, scrambled across the bridge then went leaping across the stream. Turns out a deer ran right into a runner and hit her in the face. Wild!
