Jen and Adam- Boiling Springs Lake

The other day I met up with a college friend and did family photos at Children's Lake in Boiling Springs.  I have to say, the shoot could not have gone better- minus the bitter cold. The photos came out BEAUTIFULLY.  It's hard to take a bad photo of Jen and Adam!

During our shoot, it began to snow.  Timed that out perfectly!

A big thank you to Adam and Jen for coming out all the way from the DC area to have photos done!  I'm humbled that you chose me for your photographer and I hope to see you guys again soon and make a habit out of taking photos of your family!

The other week, during a winter warm spell, I went out with Kyle and Elizabeth to do engagement portraits along with Elizabeth's little girl, Leah.

I loved photographing Leah, she was full of sass.

Well done on the ring Kyle, WELL DONE!

It wasn't easy to get Kyle to smile, but I was ready on the trigger when he did.
 I love this one.

We were finished the session when we realized the train was about to go by, so I took just a few more shots. The graffiti added and unexpected yet cool element to their shoot.  This I think is my favorite shot.
Photos from Elizabeth and Kyle's wedding to come... (their wedding day was a blast!)

Rainy Days

I'm so ready for summer. Ugh, all this rain is interfering with everyone's photo shoots! I will be posting some duckling shoots soon. But for now, here's my little pink and green duckling...

Check back for ducks soon!

Recent Family Photos

This past holiday season I photographed about 40 families. That's an all time high for me! Most of them I shot on my gray background so the scenery isn't too exciting- but it's all about the people. Here are just a few of those families...

Baby Wolfgang

Wolfgang came to visit me during the first week of life to have his photos taken. He was so precious... and so was his sister- Scarlet- who consequently doesn't like to touch her brother much, and really doesn't like it when he cries.

Loved the bear hat they bought from Etsy.

Favorite: Completely unconventional sibling photo. It's like they live on two different planets. Makes me laugh :) Can't wait to see this family again and watch their children grow through the years. Thanks for braving the cold weather and bringing your little man out to see me!

The Bowsers

I was tempted to make the title of this blog entry: The Cutest Family EVER. I loved photographing them. Two of the little ones had just woken up from naps and were just warming up in this first photo. Fully awake and ready to go.Loving the yellow field of flowers!Check out the hawk that was watching our photo shoot, and I think I know why...Haha. Just kidding.
I love these photos. Here they are separately in case you can't see them very well in this addorable triptych. And just one more.

Can't say I didn't warn you about them being the CUTEST family ever!
