Baby Ava

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Ava O'Connell. She was the sweetest little thing. She didn't sleep long, but I was still able to capture some precious, peaceful moments.

Thank you Mike and Jenn for sharing her with me. Enjoy your little blessing!

Hanlin Girls

I absolutely loved photographing these two sisters. They were so vibrant and full of life. I had the pleasure of taking their photos on the grounds of their family's bed and breakfast at Fallen Tree Farm. The girls were just as beautiful as the location. They have horses and fields- lots of fun stuff to shoot.
Favorite!
The Hanlin's also have an area to do weddings in an old stone foundation. It has a really cool look to it. If you're getting married and need a small venue, definately check it out by clicking HERE. The bed and breakfast is adorable and the Hanlins are amazing people to work with. In these last three shots you can see the foundation in the background.

I will be photographing a wedding at Fallen Tree Farm in October so there will be more photos of the venue in the future. Keep your eyes out!

The Noss Family

Check out this little cutie. The Noss family was so much fun to photograph. We were very busy during the shoot.Exploring...Looking adorable...Snuggling...Throwing leaves...Cheesing...And posing.I took this photo as I was driving away. You would have thought she was all out of steam! I think she's really getting the hang of the whole posing thing :)

Giggles with Camryn

These portaits of Camryn had a little theme to them. She is such an entertaining little girl. I told her mother- "you must never get bored!" Her facial expressions were priceless! It was so much fun to photograph her. This one cracks me up. It's her own version of speak no evil.
Between each shot she would laugh with delight.

Thanks for the laughs Camryn!

I can't tell you how excited I am right now. I just recieved news from Trendy Camera Straps that I won first prize in their photo contest! They are comming out with a new line of straps very soon, so I'll need some help picking one out in the near future. Check out their blog where they have my photo posted along with the other winners. Pardon my post because a lot of these photos are not ones I submitted for the contest- just cute ones of Maya and AJ.
And the winner is:I went out on 3 separate shoots. This next series is from my first day out. We got caught in a down pour- you can even see the rain falling in this photo. AJ was upset about the rain, but then started to smile and laugh. I later found out it was because Maya had found some NASTY water bottle she was pretending to drink out of. Ah, the things we don't see when our eye is glued to a camera!
Note: no cameras were harmed in the making of this photograph.Maya, pull him by the tie. Wait, no, don't choke him! AJ, stop making that face, pretend like you're NOT choking...AJ actually took this photo of our little lady.I love how Maya is squeezing so tight.AJ just had to wear this hat. So I let him for a shot or two. Check out Maya's BIG smile :)Shoot #3.
Question: What's cuter than this addorable little puppy?Answer: My addorable little girl walking the addorable little puppy with a Trendy Camera Strap of course!

What do you mean I missed Easter?!

Floating through the air and space with no real sense of time, month, day, season. That's sometimes how I feel. Especially when the days are long and busy, where it becomes a struggle just to find time to take a shower- and laundry- well forget it!
Somewhere between an engagement session I have yet to work on and post, my trip to Disney, and two weddings, I've totally missed Easter.
The bunny did find us in Florida, but the day was very nontraditional. We spent our day at a Disney theme park. No fresh buttery mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole with pecans and brown sugar, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, buns, cranberry sauce and stuffing balls with a Honey Baked "Easter" Ham. Just a sugar high and a all day walking routine that would rival a work out video by "The Biggest Loser's" Jillian.
Here are a few shots I took at the Easter Egg Hunt in Hershey.

This is AJ's, "stop taking pictures of me" face. The date always falls on the most miserable day of the spring. This time it was cold, but even MORE windy.
AJ got 2 eggs. Poor guy.

Somehow we were lucky enough to win 2 prizes from eggs though. (Maya's eggs.)
Happy belated Easter everyone!

AJ and Maya: Truely Blessed

Now, for the rest of them... almost...

My favorite.

My little Children's Place model.
We like to sing "Rock-a-Bye Baby" with motions- it goes like this:
Cue the WIND!

WARNING: Well trained photographer's son, don't try these poses at home folks.

The love these two have for eachother is adorable. Holding hands, little kisses, pats on heads. I hope that relationship never fades. I don't remember ever getting little kisses or pats on the head from my big brother!

I'm truely blessed to have these two in my life.
