The Stitt Teague Wedding

What an amazing day. I had so much fun photographing this wedding for a bride and family that I have become good friends with through the process. I love everything about Andrea Teague. Definately my kind of bride. Easy going and beautiful. I'm so happy for Andrea and Bryan- who might I say came to this day by way of Walmart where Bryan stalked Andrea and did something completely out of character. He left a note on Andrea's car with his information. Crazy as it may seem, here we are at their wedding!

Andrea's dress was one main ingredient for the perfect day. It was from the Kleinfeld collection at J & B Bridal in Chambersburg. The ceremony was held at the chappel on the Carlisle Barracks and the reception was at The Carlisle Country Club.What a beautiful bride. Andrea, you looked fabulous!

Not like you don't look fabulous ever other day of your life :)The Teague family.I loved all the petals. These shots seem so magical.We posed this cheesy shot, but I love it. That is quite an animated high five!Bryan really wanted a shot of him carrying Andrea and I love it.And this shot was Andrea's idea. I love this one too!The flowers were done by George's Flowers. I love that Andrea switched her look by changing head pieces for the reception. This one is is a headband made by Winters and Rain. After you wedding, you send it back to them and they make customized jewlery from it.The Fancy Cake Shop did this beautiful cake. It tasted as good as it looked.An awesome idea they had for the reception was this photo booth.You get your photos printed out and Andrea had a station set up where you could make a page for their scrapbook out of your photos. I'll have to post the shots I took with Steph, my assistant for the day.This series shows one of Andrea's little surprises for Byran. She wore a Tennessee garter. Bryan is NOT a fan. He's a big fan of PSU. I'm not an expert on the matter, but I believe they are rivals.I wish you happy years to come, as long as you both shall live.

The Mundell Family

I'm in a black and white kind of mood today.

I got to know the Mundells this year because Bobby coached my son's soccer team. What an awesome family. Bobby left to go over seas just after graduation from the USAWC, so the family wanted to have some shots done before he left. We wish you all the best! Naida, I'm here for you if you need ANYTHING. Let's make dinner together sometime! And you, Martha, Jonathan, and Margarita can come over to use the hot tub :) This year will be over in no time.

Don and Tiffany's Wedding Day

I met with Tiffany and Don a few weeks ago for the first time to do an engagement session and walk through at Dickenson College. They recently got married and came to the Carlisle Barracks to do some wedding day photos. There are a lot of kissy photos, and I won't appologize for posting so many, they are passionate about one another and I want to celebrate that. Three cheers for kissy photos!Someone was a little excited to be married. I love Tiffany's spunk. This next series is great. Reminds me of someone...Throw that peace sign...Nice form on the cartwheel :)Congratulations you guys!

I can't tell you how excited I am right now. I just recieved news from Trendy Camera Straps that I won first prize in their photo contest! They are comming out with a new line of straps very soon, so I'll need some help picking one out in the near future. Check out their blog where they have my photo posted along with the other winners. Pardon my post because a lot of these photos are not ones I submitted for the contest- just cute ones of Maya and AJ.

And the winner is:I went out on 3 separate shoots. This next series is from my first day out. We got caught in a down pour- you can even see the rain falling in this photo. AJ was upset about the rain, but then started to smile and laugh. I later found out it was because Maya had found some NASTY water bottle she was pretending to drink out of. Ah, the things we don't see when our eye is glued to a camera!

AJ, stop making that face, pretend like you're NOT choking...AJ actually took this photo of our little lady.I love how Maya is squeezing so tight.AJ just had to wear this hat. Maya Jane

Meet Maya. She's beautiful. Just the other day I stopped by her house to take a few photos with one of the baby cacoons I bought in March. Look how peaceful she is. Only a few days old. Welcome to the world, your daddy's going to spoil you like crazy :)

Kisses and Disses- Megan style

There is a photographer I love- Jasmine Star. She does something on her blog called Kisses and Disses. So with a shout out to J*, I wanted to post my own kisses and disses segment today after a horrible experience.

Kisses go to: Adorable baby bunnies- or anything baby for that matter. I am a sucker for a baby animal of any kind. Always have been. I may have even given CPR to a baby robin once- true story.

Disses go to: Crows. Not Counting Crows because they rock. No, to crows who attack baby bunnies. Find something else to eat! Like corn or grass or something that doesn't squeal for help when you chase it. Please.

Today I had to intervene on one such occasion for my own emotional well being.

I put the surviving bunny in the witness protection program and relocated it. Yeah, yeah, such is the circle of life, but as I said, I needed to do it for me, even if I couldn't save him for good.
